Introduction
On September 11th, 2001, fire companies from the Fire Department of New York responded to the call at the World Trade Center.  By the end of the day, 343 active duty members and 3 retired firefighters would not return to their homes.

This website is a compilation of online and offline information about them.  It is here as a testament to their dedication, their bravery and their sacrifice.  We will never forget them... like we ever could.

When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but
in the end they always fall, always.
